Mould, grime, and cocktails. My work on 'Jake Goes on a Date' was largely centred around dressing Jake's flat to look uncared-for and dilapidated, seeing his reflection through a mirror filthy with self-loathing. For his titular date, to match Jake's metamorphosis, we made use of an underground bar with exposed brickwork and an excavated wall, as if a shed exoskeleton.
